Avonex/Copaxone Combi Trial
ANational Institutes of Health (NIH) sponsored trial is beginning.
In this trial treatment naïve patients will be randomized
to receive either Avonex plus placebo (one out of four patients),
Copaxone plus placebo (one out of four patients) or Avonex
plus Copaxone (two out of four patients). The trial hopes to
answer the question, “Do interferon-beta and glatiramer acetate
work synergistically when given together?” Both drugs are
approved for the treatment of MS, but are seldom used together
because of the costs of the treatments when combined and the
lack of safety and efficacy data available.

hip fracture 4-hole plate fixation
When placed (guidepin) the initial placement looked slightly too far posterior, therefore it was withdrawn out to the fracture line and anterior pressure from the heel of the hand was pressed downward on the fracture area to more surely neutralize the pull of the s/l cellus and the pin was then advanced and was at this point more centralized in the head and neck fragment and better ....... (Can't find anything that the cellus would be) any ideas? TIA
