This patient is seen in the ICU after being struck by a car, many various injuries.

It sure sounds like he is sounding out XLIF, and I cannot tell if he is saying collateral or lateral, but normally I would hear anterior or posterior lateral approch here and he is saying something way off from this. Sorry my sound like is not much help - it sounds like he is saying ex-something.
