I have a lab test here that the doctor is dictating the results on and I recognized the D-dimer but it s/l he is saying 'parallel' after it. Is there another test that goes hand in hand with this? I've not ever heard it if there is. Thanks in advance!

The whole sentence is: GU: No dysuria, frequency or urgency. Previous labs in the hospital reveal a creatinine of 1.4 with a blood sugar of 205. Free T4 was a little low, with a normal TSH. D-dimer parallel was negative and CBC was normal.
