We are doing a CT scan of the facial bones.  He is saying :shows evidence of left periorbital and left s/l premalar soft tissue swelling."  He is very clear and emphasizes preMAlar.  Is there such a word?  Can't find it in any of my books, though Google does have it but I don't trust the 'Net unless I can back it up with my books.

It would make a lot of sense given that she is elevating her hand. I tried those keywords you gave and still pulling up nothing. However, it really sounds like she is dictating "Carter pillow" but I had never heard of one before so I really wanted to double check. That most likely has to be it but I'm still debating putting a blank. I'll listen a few more times and most likely use that. Thanks so much! :)

I agree with the OP. I have docs who dictate "ETOH" maybe that's part of what he is saying. Long shot, but maybe it's mounting ETOH abuse, like it's getting worse? Dunno.
