right parietal lade??
Subject: right parietal lade??

Has anyone heard of this term- right parietal lade?  He spells it out rather than says it so I don't know if it is an acronym.  The sentence goes: Head CT with an old left parietal CVA, left caudate lacunar CVA with moderate subcortical changes.  There is right parietal "L A D E" (spelling it out only) with cortical necrosis.

I cannot find this term anywhere, as a regular term or as an acronym.  Can anyone help??

Thanks!

right parietal lade..sm
Subject: right parietal lade..sm

Since he spelled it I know this is a stretch but could he just mean right parietal "lobe" with cortical....yada, yada, yada?

Oh, and you need to check the anatomy of the hand. Do a google search for "bones of the hand"
Subject: Oh, and you need to check the anatomy of the hand. Do a google search for "bones of the hand".

Try this site, you can click on the bones of the hand and it will tell you what the bone is called.

http://www.gwc.maricopa.edu/class/bio201/hand/anhand.htm

The trapezoid bone is a bone in the distal row of the carpus; it articulates with the second metacarpal.

The scaphoid bone is the largest bone of the proximal row of the carpus on the radial side, articulating with radius, lunate, capitate, trapzium, and trapezoid.

Subject: Sounds like he was caught not being specific enough.

You should have been given account specific pages that explain what is expected. Nobody really knows what verbatim means until account specifics are spelled out. He needs to take a chill pill and put his expectations in writing, get approval from his supervisor, then run those specifics by the contact for the account. Otherwise all the MTs will change what they are doing and somebody at the hospital will object and then you'll have to change the way you do things AGAIN! JMO.

Interesting presentation of zonular dehiscence from the blunt trauma with prolapse of vitreous subsequently addressed by Dr. ******* but has progressed with a variant of an "Irvine gas", marked swelling of the optic nerve as well as macular pucker.

He says Irvine gas very clearly, but I've never see this in that context.  Does this look right?
