If you can, take a look at this picture - http://www.med.und.nodak.edu/users/jwhiting/dess.html

move the big red dot to the left and turn the hand palm-up, that is where it's at. No forearm pain or pain of tendons traveling across the wrist (through a "tunnel" termed the first dorsal compartment) on the thumb side to produce movement of the thumb.

I said "fatty part," but maybe I mean "meaty part below the thumb, palm side up."

I really hope you continue to feel better with your injection. SPEAKING OF WHICH, there is no way anyone is coming near my extremely sensitive area with a needle; I commend both posters for your bravery, but I will endure this pain, or maybe successfully conquer this pain, with no needle; sorry, no way, no how. Yowza, no, no way! (I do understand the reasons for it, I transcribe clinic notes for an orthopedist, so I know it's done successfully, it just won't be happening to this chicken!

Hopefully, my ergo adjustments will make this go away, or I will have to deal with it if there is no other way!

Thanks for posting!
