anterior chain adenopathy?
Subject: anterior chain adenopathy?

The doc is stating "he has mild anterior chain adenopathy" ( it sounds like that!) but she does not give any headings for her PE --just rattles off comments for each one, so I am wondering where this goes. Any suggestions? What I have found so far may indicate NECK, but am not sure.

Thanks!

MTs like you and NewbieMT who show a lot of promise.

To answer your questions, I majored in medical secretarial and got my AA in that. After that, it was tough finding a job with no experience, but I managed to get a great job at an ivy-league teaching hospital. I worked as a medical secretary in the outpatient department for 7 years and then decided I hated the "front line" with the phones, appointments, yelling patients, screaming doctors (and doing transcription as part of that job, too), that I branched off into transcription. So, in total, over 30 years. Even after all this time, I haven't forgotten how terrifying it was starting out, so I really feel for you guys.

This MT shows promise, and a little mentoring won't hurt any of you, so relax. She's doing a great job on her own, and working hard, too.

If you all worked in a hospital setting, you would get this kind of help, too. I did, and I won't ever forget the help I received and how much I learned.

and type in "99-m diagnostic" google will question you with "99m" and provide you with technetium 99m. Ta dah! Double check to see if it is capped or not by going to a reputable website (i.e., mfr or such). Just a hint for future searches.
