That's kinda what I figured because I KNOOOOWWWWW I've seen it in a reference book I just can't remember which, plus the fact that no doctor has ever corrected me - EVER on this, leads me to suspect - they don't care haha but QA does. So for their sake anyway I'll use "cannula".
