I have 1600 to 1700 shortcuts in one program I use.  They are pretty much personalized.  Most of us probably use "tp" for "the patient" and "pnt" for "patient" and so on.  So if you are looking for specific terms and short versions of those terms, that would be a lot to list.

If you are looking for general tips on making your own short texts, that would be a shorter list.  I generally go by syllables but that is just what I do and what is easy for me to remember.

The other who posted below could make her letter sign off her expanded term and then name the short term "lso" for "letter sign off" or name it "ty" for "thank you" or "tyjb" for "thank you from Dr. John Brown".

Not sure exactly what you are looking for....hope this helps some!
