I'm not sure if this is a type of Surgicel or if the doctor is saying "in to seal", possibly intracele, intraseal - I can't find any of these words though. In to seal does not quite fit in the sentence either.
At the time of this last surgery, we treated her prophylactically with DDAVP and placed Surgicel in to seal in the cavity as local hemostatics. 
Sounds like it could be Surgicel.

Squamous cell carcinoma of the lung with metastases, COPD, dyslipidemia, hypertension, history of alcohol of alcoholism in the past, atrial fib-anticoagulated and depression. These are his illnesses and I do not think the abbreviation fits any of these. I think with me being new I should flag it. Thanks MT50 I have bookmarked medilexicon also for further use :)
