I looked under Cox and poor renal function and both came up with:
Cox organism Cox proportional hazards model Cox stepwise regression model
Again, all these terms are direct out of Stedman's Cardiology and they cross reference via Google when you add in poor renal function, so it seems they are indeed related. I know squatola about cardiology though, it's one of my poorer backgrounds. Sorry you are having a rough go of it, but welcome back to transcription!

When the doctor says PR interval, how do you know if it should be P-R or PR , same with H-V or HV, A-N or AN, P-A or PA, Q-S2 or QS2, RR or R-R', V-A or VA. All of these are listed under interval in my old cardiology book, but how do we know which ones we're supposed to use? TIA?

You need to listen carefully when these are dictated. PR interval, Q-T interval, etc. Is this what you mean?
