I've done orthopedic examinations where "symmetrical with no swelling" was used. I know that doesn't sound like "farming," but a lot of doctors don't speak clearly and if you listen to it again with "swelling" in mind, see if it could possibly be swelling.

It sounds like the doctor is saying the patient has "collection swelling" over the olecranon bursa area. Would this make sense or seem proper? I assume he is saying there is a collection of fluid.

Should I type this as 6.90 minus 1 with swelling? Just had the same doctor with another patient coming in with labor, and she says "Cervix is 390 and 0." That should be 3.90, meaning the cervical length, right? But what about this patient of 690 minus 1 with swelling? Is that cervical length of 6.90? Thank you.

The patient does have an ***ardematous aparidic*** swelling on the dorsum web space of the left hand. Suspected to be an allergic reaction to insect bite.
