I work for ENT doctors and have never heard the term sinusy. One of hte doctors, although American, does not always use coerrect grammer, and will often say, Tereasa, make suer that sounds right so I am comfortable with changing things a little. Depending how much leeway you have, you could type The patient's sinuses are very congested or something along those lines. I have found that most docs can't remember exactly what was said by the end of the day.

The doctor says that the patient is congested and sinusy. (does this sound like correct grammar?) Should I leave it as this or is there another way to say this?
I would appreciate any help on this.
