He may be saying silicone pad.  When I had my hand surgey several years back, they gave me some gel-like foam that was in a rectangle shape to put over the incision to reduce scarring (they give you a couple and you store them in the fridge when not using).  I believe this is common amongst plastic hand surgeons.  I did a Google on silicon pads.  Check this out.

The patient had just had a hemovac tube and small suction tube removed. The doctor then adds:


However, after I examined them and after she had left the office, it appeared that the tube had broken off somewhat and there ______.


blank s/l "was some silicone knob"!??! "was some silicone on it"???


This is a weird one....the doctor is VERY hard to understand.  I've tried to look up what actually sounds like what he is saying and what would actually make sense, but I've got nothing.  Any advice???
