out there with no real correlation to the question asked in the first place, and also given with global *ALL* circumstances, as well as being issued with a huge arrogant attitude as in that being the ONLY answer to the question, and also the person answering the question giving the distinct impression that they are superior to every one else on the board who are trying to *help*, simply because of her employment position and her *experience*. arrogance and superiority complexes are not viewed kindly on this board and some will definitely attempt to put that person *in their place*. We have to be careful of the answers we give to some questions, because inaccurate answers can affect the patient we are transcribing about. most of the people answering questions like to supply referenced documentation of what they think the answer should be and not just sling out sound-alike answers whether it pertains to the question or not, and saying that MTs are always off base with their questions and the sound-alikes are an attempt to get them thinking in the right direction. That approach will only get *made fun of* or a severe criticism. This is simply my observation and an attempt at an explanation. Everyone on this board tries to help, but it is the attitude that help is given in, which is important. Being QA does not necessarily make someone superior to someone else and a QAs answers are not always correct.

The correct answer(s) can ALWAYS be found online and I have tons of reference books (which become outdated as technology presses on). The internet is putting libraries out of business and if you don't think so....just watch and wait. Business at libraries is HEAVILY DOWN due to this.
There are very 100% reliable websites to find ALL answers and websites that Medquist wants us to use. It's less time consuming actually for some to find the correct answers online. You can back it up by also looking in the books.
Lighten up on the poster please. You can say what you want to or have to say, but have you ever heard of being kind to posters or other people in life?

Well said. I have always enjoyed helping people find answers and I have received a lot of good help
The most important thing is to learn how to do research and how to frame a question so that you can get a useful answer. If you learn how to get the answer and know it is correct, then you are on the way to doing a good job as an MT.

I would do 60%. I have several doctors that will say 60 (as in ) 6-0. Clarifying the numbers so you don't put 16. They do 50, 5-0 so you don't put 15 because they sound close. It just sounds like sixty-six-zero. Put what you feel is right but I would be from experienc it is 60%

means after, so post phlebotomy would mean after a phlebotomy. It could be any time after, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, etc. The O in post is a long sound, not short. It could also be past phlebotomy or, as you say, just a false start.
