SSYCE? plz help! sm

Okay, this is not the first time I've heard this and couldn't find anything on it, so I really want to know what it is.

SSYCE, before I have thought I heard it as SSYC.  Pt with diarrhea, this has to be a lab test.  Sending stool for SSYCE and C. diff.

Any help? TIA!
