Red ( or white) blood cells per high-power field

RBC/HPF or RBCs/HPF or since she says the whole thing out do I type the whole thing out? Usually I know but I must admit I am stumped.

RBC/HPF OR red blood cells/high-powered field (the first is preferred since it is well-known laboratory abbreviation).
