Ultrasound of the liver and gallbladder: Liver was notable for some mildly heterogenous, diffuse echo texture.

Have a question I need help with. I work in a family practice clinic. Our x-rays are read by a hospital radiologist and transcribed at the hospital. Perhaps I am a bit anal about this but there is a term that the hospital transcriptionist uses over and over on head CT, cervical spine x-rays - the term is: Scobi structures?? I cannot find scobi anywhere in my reference material. Is anyone familiar with that term? I am thinking more along the lines of skull base structures are normal. I appreciate your input. Deb

Subject: radiology
Thanks everyone for replying. I had x-ray tech talk to the radiologist and he is saying skull base structures. Now how to tactfully tell the hospital MT. She is not always open to any corrections. I think I will let the x-ray dept take care of it. Not everyone likes corrections. I definitely want someone to correct me if I am making a mistake so I do not continue to make the same mistakes over and over!
