Not familiar with cardio and am trying to learn.
A 14-year-old in for well-child PE, wants to participate in cheer-leading. Has seen cardiologist and diagnosed with neurally mediated hypotension, a small patent foramen ovale, very mild mitral valve regurgitation. She is on s/l atenolol 25 mg and s/l floor-net.
I'm wondering if the atenolol would be used for any of these conditions - I'm confused since hypotension is one dx (and not hypertension), but thought it may be used for one of the other conditions.
The second s/l is very clear but cannot find.
Many thanks for any help.

Please excuse if this is a simple question, but I cannot verify this:

PAST MEDICAL HISTORY: Reduced CEA, HBP, obese, 35% bilateral carotid disease 2003.
Thank you. This doctor slangs a lot, if that helps any

This does not make sense to me, so any advice appreciated! The pt is seen for chest pain. It is the "ST segment, plane, or depression" that is throwing me off. Could he be saying something other than plane that I am missing? Thanks again!
I have told him at this time, based on the duration of his exercise and no definite ST segment, plane, or depression, that he is in a relatively good prognosis category.

The report then states correlate clinically for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, as her diary entry showed sinus rhythm, with questionable episodes of atrial fibrillation.
It did reveal sinus rhythm, sinus tachycardia; suggested clinical correlation for atrial fibrillation, as some of her symptoms occurred with sinus rhythm, with a questionable atrial fibrillation.
