Plavix is used for: Reducing the risk of stroke or heart attack in patients who have already had a heart attack or stroke, or have other circulatory problems due to narrowing and hardening of the arteries. It also may be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Maybe he says 'Plavix 10 mg und you hear the 10 twice, once in Plavixstent and 10 mg.
I googled and Plavix is only dispensed in 75 mg tablets (hope I am not wrong); so Pravastatin makes more sense, as it is dispensed in 10 mg.
Plavixstent would mean that the stent is coated with Plavix.
