She's new. She's already stated that. She's trying to do a good job. I don't think the answer is to kick someone when they are down. She probably has received very resourceful information here as most are willing to help newbies. Give the girl a chance!

break. Remember the old days when we were young and just getting started? I remember one time typing "fecal sac" instead of "thecal sac" and the doctor chewing my butt out. That made me feel just awful. I would never treat someone that way. The only way to learn is to ask questions and make mistakes.

means that the physician "made up" the word to indicate something else. The word apneic does exist. Been doing sleep clinic transcription and former chairman of American Sleep Medicine Society (or whatever the organization's name is) was in my account and she says that word a lot of times. The usage of apneic in this instance though does not seem to jive with the whole statement.
