Just because they pronounce badly, depend on your drug reference resources. You have to ignore the bad pronunciation and rely on your resource materials. It is amantadine just as it says in your drug book

I have been doing this for 26 or more years, home, hospital, office, clinic, radiology, every specialty, plus rad/psych, and I have seen things really messed up spelling-wise in Google, there is lots of misinformation there. I have also come up with different spellings and answers for the same thing on different days! Perhaps it is because I came into this field before the internet (gasp) and even before PCs, (gasp/faint), I find that Google is okay for a quick double-check on something you are pretty familiar with, but NOTHING beats Stedman's, Dorland's, Mosby's, and some of the other reference books. It take longer to look up, but I keep mine always handy (all three shelves) updated, and you learn and retain knowledge so much better and remember much more!! Hope I am not preachy, I just see a lot of MTs relying solely on Google and getting into trouble because of someone else's mistake that gets regurgitated up on a search.

I did offer help...I offered a great resource, not only to the original poster, but to those who may read this thread and not have known of this resource. I have done my share of spoonfeeding here and have probably been thanked more often than you know. but since mibi is usually the part heard, make an expansion with that, then you will be able to see that word that is on the tip of your tongue. I do that with certain medications, instruments and procedures that I often forget. I make the expansion from what I usually hear, then sometimes back it up with a better description of the correct term. Good thing the expansion programs have a lot of memory cause my brain seems to get overloaded or just downright DUH some days! Glad we could help you!

His MRI arthrogram unfortunately has showed a fair amount of arthrosis. He has been read as having a superior labrale tear, but I think this is likely a normal sulcus.
TREATMENT/PLAN: I am going to put him on some meloxicam. We will see how this affects his osteoarthritis of the hip, and I will see him back as needed. We have talked also about using cushion-soled shoes, s/l fluid exercise program with a non-resistive stationary bike and swelling or the like.

Rescheduling of Continuing Education program
To everyone in "Bang for the Buck" class, I am rescheduling Lea Sims. She notified Tina that she is unable to get online due to weather problems. She feels she might not be ready by Monday, and Tuesday is "iffy."
With Emily out there, she might knock out our Texans and Louisiana participants if Lea would get back for this weekend, as scheduled; however, I will try to reschedule Lea in ASAP for this same class. It may be August
