S/l the ** esk-ell-a pins were removed, and the graft was captured.

This is on a cervical spine fusion.  Thank you

on x-ray it appears that one of the s/l "hoffert" screws is protruding out the posteromedial aspect ....(Can't find anything googling or otherwise).

"The fracture was segmental with the fracture distally requiring a blocking screw. We placed in a blocking screw from anterior to posterior to medialize the rod and prevent valgus instability. With the locking screw in place, using Kretek and Cole pollar blocking screws we then proceeded to place a guide pin down the femoral shaft to the end of the femur.

Doc spelled this out but cannot document it and he doesn't always get it right - anybody heard this before - thanks

How about Kerrison'd?  I wish they wouldn't say things like that!

He has had multiple cervical spine surgeries in order to relieve pressure due to compression of the s/l remis from the cervical spine.

Screws were then placed into the vertebral bodies through the plate.  A "Kenlock" screw was then tightened at each of the vertebral bodies after the final tightening of each of the four screws.   Sl Kenlock or Chemlock, but I cannot verify. Thanks for any help! 

The diskectomy was then continued deep until the posterior osteophytes.  The overhanging lip of C3 was KERRISONED OFF?????  Sounds strange to me.  Thanks

She also had a retroperitoneal approach to the L2 complete corpectomy; L1 through L2 and L2 through L3 interbody fusion; L1 through L2, L2 through L3 interbody instrumentation; and L1 through L3 anterior lumbar instrumentation with s/l MAC STL and autograft for fusion.

The patient had placement of a s/l "Stylus" cage with BMP arthrodesis?   His problems are in the lumbar spine if that helps.

He has no motion between the skull and the thorax, owing to an *s/l occicothoracic*   fusion.

In the same report, doctor dictates under Diagnosis:  *s/l Spondyloepithesial dysplasia.

At a dead end with google search and medical dictionaries, can anyone help please?

We will place her on five pounds of S/L box traction. 

This is for a spiral fracture of the left femur.  I cannot find box traction anywhere - is this correct?  TIA.

Dictated ... A guide pin was placed followed by over s/l *drone* with 10 mm drill.

There is a prior laminectomy and laminotomy present at L5-S1 with generalized disk bulge and flattening of the thecal sac and facet arthritis as well as ________________ (sounds like Rochester or krischester?) on the right S1 nerve root.

I was thinking impingement or encrochemnt  but it just does not sound like that.

All pedicle screws appear perfectly placed.  There is s/l wa-bat-i-cal im-eth of the lumbar spine.

Anyone ever heard of this. It s/l man scan. He's saying it clearly and even spells it, but I don't know if it is capped or not. I can't find it to reference.  Appreciate any help thanks!
