Usually the brand names are shorter than the generics, though not always, of course. But say you keep forgetting that tylenol is a brand name, so you are typing it lower case and having to correct it. So make it an autocorrect entry (or whatever expander system you are using) to correct it automatically. And then there is Tylenol with Codeine. Normally codeine is generic, but Tylenol decided to use it as part of a legal name, so it's Tylenol with Codeine. So make a shortcut for that. twc = Tylenol with Codeine. That's what I do.
