Need Help on word s/l Plasmex technology
I am in the middle of a I&D of amputation stump and surgeon is using growth factor. He took the patient's own blood and using Plasmex technology, growth factors were harvested.
Any ideas, I haven't been able to find it. Thanks for the help.
s/l Habeeb Technology/Probe
Subject: s/l Habeeb Technology/Probe
The doctor was dictating an op note, resection of liver mets and RF ablation of liver mets. First he refers to "using Habeeb Technology" and then later he refers to a "Habeeb probe." I checked all my reference books and googled every combination I could imagine until I finally gave up andI sent it on to QA, but cannot check to see what he was saying until this evening, and quite frankly, I am really curious if anyone has heard of this before? He is an ESL so I may be totally off base with it.

Very rarely transcribe anything on echocardiograms so I'm not familiar with terms.
Echocardiogram performed August 4, 2006, does show normal left ventricular size of function without any valvular abnormalities. Ejection fraction of 55 to 60 percent. Cardiac cath performed August 3, 2006, 80 percent right coronary artery stenosis for which a drug-eluding stent was placed.

why would doctor say at end of letter to therapist that the patient got a copy of their MRI? It sounds like he means put cc at bottom of letter so patient gets a copy of the letter, and that the MRI scan results should be enclosed with the letter to the therapist for review, where you would put at end of letter:
Enclosure: MRI results.
