Patti, don't I wish sometimes that you could be married but have a non-marital relationship. LOL. Eh, just still lacking sleep.
Did I ever tell you guys that after all that agony I went thru last week, where the stupid NP insisted it was only a UTI, the CAT scan showed a kidney stone? I will never return to that NP again. My PCP has both an NP and a PA and the PA really has his act together. The doctor is exceptional. However, I will refuse to see that NP again. I told the NP I was in agony, not just pain. He blew me off and gave me some antibiotics and a few Pyridium. When I saw the PA last week, I told him my symptoms. He told me that misery is a UTI, agony is a kidney stone.
And to think I was chicken to go to the ER last week, even as sick as I was, for fear they'd think I was using it as a walk-in clinic.

I think it would take a lot of context or experienced ear to listen to take a stab at this one. Could be an abbreviation such as PCP or an abbreviation of some local health clinic or something. For some reason the first thing that popped into my mind was CDC, as in Center for Disease Control, although I don't know if they give out drugs. With it being 5 drugs and the term "given", I was thinking AIDS, and then who might give those drugs to impoverished patients. But then again, maybe the patient had cancer and was given a 5-drug cancer regimen by some local cancer center. Can you see why context is sooooo important?
