Hasson cannula, nothing under catheter. Vera Pyle confirms Hasson cannula. No Hassan anywhere. Which surgical book are you referring to? Tessier's? I had her original book which had lots of errors in it.

During the course of an aortogram, AAA repair and bifurcation graft, he exchanged 0.025 glide wires with 0.035 s/l "Mire" wires, removed the sheath and inserted the bifurcation graft. Mylar maybe (?) but was not able to verify. After deploying the graft, he passed a s/l "AquaTempo" 5-French catheter. I may have a few more of these gems before the report is finished. He is naming every single brand of all the obscure pieces of equipment he can lay his hands on.

One of my ortho MDs likes using a s/l "Ansbach/Aunsbach" or "Onsbach" bur when doing both cervical diskectomy and fusion and lumbar laminotomy, facetectomy and decompression. I have googled and also searched all of that MD's reports in our database and noticed that the other transcriptionists have left this blank in every snigle reoprt. Anybody ever heard of this?

I believe you are looking for ANSPACH® Anspach makes craniotome's drills, perforators, etc.

S/l "Hooks were placed inferiorly and superiorly in rectus muscles, dissected off rectus fascia." but could have been "Hooker" or "Hooker's." Is there a Hooker retractor for this doc who leaves the "scissors" part off of "Mayos" and "Metzenbaums"??
