I am doing a report on a mitral valve repair and doc states "After sizing the valve, a 26-mm --s/l visio ring-- was placed.
Any ideas?

An electrocardiogram was performed in the clinic today and reveals a "mic-sal-matous" mitral valve which prolapses slightly

The patient has cardiac disease and mitral valve disease and comes to pulmonology for pulmonary nodules. Doctor says: "I am not sure exactly what the specific anatomical diagnosis was but it was some type of s/l *mixomidis* type abnormality of the mitral valve."

CHIEF COMPLAINT: Recurrent pilonidal disease.
HISTORY OF PRESENT ILLNESS: This case involved a 25-year-old gentleman who complains of recurrent symptoms of pilonidal disease since July of 2008. anatomically, they should be at the level of the fascia; they usually say "fascia" or "fascial ring" or "fascial collar" or perhaps even "fat"...can't think of anything that s/l point and it's definitely NOT bone...

The pathology did show a benign granuloma s/l dys or dis polyp in the midileal area removed.
ALSO:
There was also an area of focal submucosal s/l immural pigment from where she had had marking with her enteroscopy.
