procedure to me. There is one called the VAX-D, vertebral axial decompression. I do ortho and most of my docs are spine surgeons. I think this is what your doc is talking about. good luck.

ESL doctor- Past history: Illnesses and surgeries: Appendectomy, age 12. Other on an oral decompression traumatic amputation of left hand index finger at midphalanx, long and ring finger at the proximal phalanx, middle finger at the second phalanx.
Not sure what highlighted is and if it is a thought of it's own or part of the amputation thought!
"thermohead" decompression surgery?
The patient suffered a 40-foot fall and had "thermohead" decompression surgery. That is all I know, as this is listed in Past Medical History.

Well he had a laparotomy with adhesiolysis, and enterotomy with small-bowel decompression...
