Subject: Manual Muscle Testing
is measured on a grading system 1 through 5. Each of these can have a minus, a plus, or nothing. The use of plus or minus is based on the subjective decision of the examiner. 1/5, 1+/5, 1-/5 These are one over five, one plus over five and one minus over five. The numerator One is Trace strength, Two is poor, Three is Fair, Four is Good, and Five is Normal. A grade of 3/5 means the person can move against gravity. So yes, 4-/5 means Good Minus.

Patient reinjured his shoulder and doc is dictating "shoulder shows well-healed scars, some mild s/l de saturary of his deltoid." Any clue for the s/l? It is not dehiscence.

Doctor spells a medication as AMARIX, but I can't find any medicine like that. The dosage is 15 mg to be taken q.h.s. for muscle spasms.
