A s/l Wolber report from the patient suggests that carotid ultrasound was done with left carotid showing a 65% stenosis.

Thanks for the help and replies. Word sounds like it could be "dies", however this doesn't really make sense in the sentence: Ultrasound done under "dies" the patient underwent paracentesis to remove ascitic fluid. It's probably something really easy, but it's just not coming to me.

At this point, careful carotid endarterectomy was done. It was begun at the common carotid artery. A wood plane was obtained and it was transected proximally and carried towards the bifurcation.
Gosh, I'm not having a good day.
