Kiesselbach's a.  an area on the anterior part of the nasal septum above the intermaxillary bone, which is richly supplied with blood vessels and is a common site of nosebleed; called also Little's.

The patient has a bleeding site on the left anterior inferior septum over the s/l kestleblocks? plexus.  My dictionary states many ? plexus but nothing that sounds like this

Isn't plexus both singular and plural? My doc keeps saying "brachial plexi" when he's talking about both arms, and I can't find that anywhere. Any help is appreciated.

It's brachial plexus .... two words. nm

"It's another one of those undocumentable words that are becoming commonly used." 


The only reason these words make it into the medical language is because some people don't know how to research to find the correct word.  It is called the proliferation of a mistake and when gone unchecked (because of ignorance) words like these become "sanctioned." 


Other proliferated mistakes that I have seen include neuroforamina and ostiomeatal to name just two more but there are many I cannot think of at the moment. 


A good medical dictionary and reliable resources will help to stop this trend.

I never had this before and I am completely baffled. S/L it starts with a C____coid or C___loid plexus tumor.


Patient has also has hydrocephalus. This is only a baby. Thanks.
