and stating it was a guess, you probably could have corrected yourself and hopefully Angie did not use the wrong spelling. Yes, it is a word board, but the other posters are right in giving the correct spelling since you did not.

DSD can stand for this disease below. .  Might be saying demyelinating DSD disease?

Dejerine-Sottas disease

a familial type of demyelinating sensorimotor polyneuropathy that begins in early childhood and is slowly progressive; clinically characterized by foot pain and paresthesias, followed by symmetrical weakness and wasting of the distal limbs; one of the causes of stork legs; patients are wheelchair-bound at an early age; peripheral nerves are palpably enlarged and non-tender; pathologically, onion bulb formation is seen in the nerves: whorls of overlapping, intertwined Schwann cell processes that encircle bare axons; usually autosomal recessive inheritance; an autosomal dominant form also exists; both forms can be caused by mutations in the peripheral myelin protein gene 22 (PMP22) on 17q or in the myelin protein zero gene (MPZ) on 1q. Syn: Dejerine disease, hereditary hypertrophic neuropathy (MIM*145900), progressive hypertrophic polyneuropathy.

Ehrlichia titer, I would imagine. The organism is Ehrlichia. Those beginning sounds can throw us sometimes as in ..."bovicea" titer

Glad OP got some help...
Subject: Glad OP got some help...

Well, certainly looks like this thread fostered discussion AND assisted the OP as well. Evidently some of our colleagues adhere to the "knowledge is power" credo and feel it's better to hoard what they know rather than help out a fellow MT. I've used this board (as a last resort after exhausting my other resources) and the help I have gotten has been invaluble.
