Is this a nephrology or urology patient? Or even a GI patient?
When you have gallbladder problems, liver problems, etc., the stools are usually a different color. They can be clay colored, black, tarry, yellow, green like baby stools, etc. So biliary colic stools could be right.

Yes, dilatation is a word
Subject: Yes, dilatation is a word
From Dorland's:
dilatation (dil·a·ta·tion) (dil”ə-ta´shən) 1. the condition, as of an orifice or tubular structure, of being dilated or stretched beyond the normal dimensions. 2. dilation (def. 1).

Subject: speaking of recurrent thyroid cancer..so in that area the intra-media-sty-num sm
Interestingly the PET scan revealed minimal FDG uptake in the right thyroid bed consistent with the right anterior tracheal lesion, and also minimal uptake in what is believed to be persistent thymic tissue in the "intra-media-stynum", but nowhere else is it noted. MRI was reviewed as well. This confirms a 1.4 cm enlarged lymph node on the right side at the level of C3......

Subject: try this again...s/l fearson or vearson instillations and urethral dilatation
I was offered the suggestion of filiforms or versed earlier today, and neither of those work. This patient receives these instillations every three months. I'm think along the lines of BCG instillations, but that is definitely not what the doc says. No mention of the patient's diagnosis to help
