Page 194 in Stedman's Radiology book is concha bullosa or pleural form is conchae bullosa....
Also found this out...
Concha Bullosa A concha bullosa (CB) is a common anatomical variation that occurs when an air pocket forms in the middle turbinate.
On a CT scan, a concha bullosa looks almost like a small balloon with a thin, bony lining. If you develop this condition, you may be symptom-free, or you may have facial pain and pressure and nasal blockage. A concha bullosa is easily corrected with endoscopic sinus surgery. Hope this helps!!!

Also, I worked in a lab for many years, and gram-negative and gram-positive are not capitalized. Gram is the name of the doctor or scientist who came up with the staining test, Gram stain, so that is capped.
Hematology/oncology vs. radiation oncology -- what are the big differences?
Subject: Hematology/oncology vs. radiation oncology -- what are the big differences?
I have experience with hematology/oncology but not radiation oncology. Is it a difficult jump from one to the other? Broad learning curve? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks! Saw it in Equip book, but not cardiac book.

I'm doing an oncology report by an ESL on a patient with an abnormal platelet and white count. She says they have sent investigations for molecular diagnostics including BCR-ABL translocation. Then she seems to back track and correct herself and say BCR-ABL and translocation and jactermitation to evaluate for myeloproliferative disorders. Any ideas?
Meanwhile, I'll go back to trying to research this on Google.

No, I don't think it's hypermutation, but I believe I've got it. I believe she is saying BCR/ABL translocation and JAK2 mutation.
