The nature of her chest wall spasms is not clear. The first thing that comes to mind is herpes, but this would have to be herpes syn rash. There does not appear to be a cutaneous component to it, and postherpetic neuralgia is less likely but still remains the most likely diagnosis.
Mycosis of the wings?
Subject: Mycosis of the wings?
The patient complained about some tenderness inthe right groin area, with some mycosis of the s/l wings. Two sentences down she says it again "Motrin was given for the purpose of controlling the potential inflammation reaction in the s/l wings"
thank you

My teacher is clipping my wings so you guys are all I have. I am a little nervous so please be patient with me while I am still learning. All of you have been great. Please just overlook the really dumb questions. I am studying anatomy and taking online courses, and trying everything I can to improve. Thanks for your help.

At 0o jugular veins should be filled. An impulse visible just prior to S1 or the upstroke of the carotid is the "a-wave". This will be followed by a x-descent. The 'c' wave is usually not visible. The 'v' wave occurs after the start of the carotid upstroke and during ventricular systole (which is atrial diastole). When the tricuspid valve opens there is a brisk descent (y-descent).

Subject: EKG shows sinus brady at 57 with U waves
Ok, I'm confused. I've never heard this before. What does it mean and how should it be transcribed? The hosptial I work for likes EKG to be expanded so I know I need to do that, I'm thinking "brady" needs to be "bradycardia" and maybe the 57 is referring to beats. So: "Electrocardiogram shows sinus bradycardia at 57 beats/min. with U waves." Is that right or am I way off?
