I just noticed that you didn't say the doc dictated inch. You asked if 3/8 could be referring to anything other than inch and I totally misread that.

The answer is yes - 3/8 could be referring to a cm measurement. Sorry I misunderstood.

But since you were unsure, you did the right thing in QA'g :)

Most state's department of insurance sites seem to use Workers'. I have not seen Workman or Workmen in any form. I hope this helps.

guess is that they are talking about degrees of flexion at those 2 digits of the pinky, so it means 15 degrees and 15 degrees, if that helps you decide if you want a comma between the numbers or perhaps a back slash.
