trademark or register information from the manufacturer does not make it Nitropaste but rather nitro (glycerin) paste. Just my opinion. There ARE registered names for nitro paste but this I believe is doc slang for generic nitroglycerin paste.

I stand by my belief that decubiti is a made-up word that is transcribed by many and dictated by many, and just because you can find it on some websites doesn't necessarily authenticate it.

Reading the article below it seems to dB
Subject: Reading the article below it seems to dB
The relationships among visual acuity (log MAR), diagnostic category, age, the magnitude of a relative afferent pupillary defect (RAPD) in log units, photopic foveal thresholds to white and colored light (dB), and the mean deviation on the Humphrey visual field (dB) were studied in patients with various optic neuropathies. All acuity and dB values were expressed as interocular differences, the majority of cases having normal acuity in the fellow eye. In multiple regression analyses, acuity and RAPD were alternately chosen as the dependent or response variable with all remaining variables serving as the predictors or independent variables. The main finding was that the only significant predictor of a RAPD was the interocular mean deviation difference on the Humphrey field and the only significant predictor of acuity was the foveal threshold to white light. Redundant and insignificant variables were therefore identified with multiple regression analysis. Subsidiary findings include: (a) although diagnostic group was not a significant predictor in the above, simple linear regression line slopes relating RAPD magnitude to the Humphrey mean deviation were significantly different between optic neuritis and compression categories; (b) for a given level of acuity, foveal thresholds were substantially worse in these cases with neuronal damage than in strabismic amblyopia, refractive error, or corneal damage; and (c) sensitivity losses for red vs. blue light were similar...

We required that any diagnosis be current, the report of the diagnostic work-up informative and the clinical symptoms and treatment consistent with the diagnosis."

She has marked soft tissue loss anteriorly as she always has had and I can easily see, if not palpate, the humeral head beneath her skin, though fortunately it remains virtually non-painful. She has anterior instability and I suggest that she likely is subluxing or even dislocating this humeral head because of her complete absence of soft tissue.

Subject: I disagree re: deep-seated versus deep-seeded
I believe deep-seeded may be correct. It is a term frequently used in oncology and dermatology. "Deep-seeded" means that something has been "seeded" from another site (primary), as in metastasis. Please do a Google search and form your own opinion on this.

glissement, you won't get what you need. You need to limit your results to those that are relevant to your topic by adding associated terms to your search. Try the two words "glissement" and "knee" (without the quotes). There will be a lot of results in French, but even if you can't read French, you will be able to see that they are relevant to your topic. There are, however, a few that use "glissement" in an English context, which should give you more confidence. In any event, it's your initials on the report, so you handled it in the way that is most comfortable for you. I could be wrong, of course, but I suspect that it will turn out to be "glissement".
