We discussed smoking cessation. I explained to him the need to determine what each cigarette is being smoked for and to find alternatives to that. We discussed Chantix. I explained to him that one of the side effects is suicide. When he hears this, he decides he does not want try that medication, but he will try it with over-the-counter aids and his _____ . We will go ahead and get some routine blood work today. We will have him follow up in 2 weeks for a physical exam and to review the blood work.

I have a doc who says stuff like that all the time...give a list of "this is normal, that is normal" only he says the same thing both times. I don't change it, I just flag it.
