...thank you so much, psa!  How did I miss this?  I have a 2007 Saunders pharm book (is 2007 considered old?) and it's not in there and I also googled unsuccessfully.  Thanks again for this.  I'm pencilling it into my Saunders.

I would say no to the alprazolam as that is Xanax and not given at anywhere near 120 mg, 1 mg or maybe 0.5 mg. It also doesn't fit with your dx listed.

Okay, no sniping here, or there. How about diltiazem or cardizem, both the same and given at 120, matches dx. Deep breath, smile, and then hit your computer, it doesn't help but it feels really good.

Can anyone tell me if I have the form of the word malleoli correct in this sentence.  Should it be malleoli or malleolus in this sentence.  The doc is saying malleoli, but it sounds funny to me.  Here is the sentence:

She has mild edema to the left ankle with mild tenderness over the bilateral malleoli, a little more prominent over the lateral malleoli, just anterior.

TIA

I'm sorry ahead of time. Yesterday was awful and today only seems worse :( This is probably so obvious but because I am getting anxious, I can not hear anything now! The doctor says "... coughing, which initially was thought to be nonproductive but now (s/l livid) some productive sputum." Any help would be so greatly appreciated, and please don't laugh too hard! I may hear and get my feelings hurt. LOL
