Here are a couple of
"anti-inflammatory" agents that end in "max"
1. Lotemax
2. Cormax
3. Nuromax=skeletal muscle relaxant
Rxlist.com is a good source for drugs. Can use search engine when not knowing the whole word such as *max-search for results....

It didn't sound like either of those. It was a stat so I just sent it in with a blank. Definitely sounded like na-sent, but then I thought maybe he was saying -an ascent-, but couldn't document that really quick either, will look a little further. Thanks for your help!!

Me thinks Stedman's made a litte boo-boo with the "neuropraxia" listing in the neuro word book. Good to know we are all human! :)

one more thing..he says "The areas were dressed and the patient was s/l ambulate to the recovery area." Ambulate is not correct but he sort of slurs when he says it...any ideas??

he says it pretty clearly quite a few times throughout the report, and none of those are quite it. I'm going to have to leave blanks. Hopefully I'll get some feedback as to what it is because I'm really curious. Thanks again!

He meant a T-plate of the Combi variety, so he says T-Combi. No wonder he didn't spell it for me. Just thought I would share. Thanks for all the help trying.

I have a name that I can't understand in the document anyway (person's last name) and I can't find it to verify spelling - so it's got to go to QA anyway, I come back here and post if/when QA gets it in case someoen else ever has it. TY for those that tried looking also.

Doc may have meant take 2 tablets in the morning and said the q just as a habit. I would certainly question having to take Lexapro at 2 a.m. In my opinion, don't guess - flag it.
Thanks. I will have to flag it.

It wasn't locked. Sounded like lap or lapped. Doctor was running words together and even made up a few of his own! Gotta love it !

Seems obvious he meant ACL.
I have a doc who says stuff like that all the time...give a list of "this is normal, that is normal" only he says the same thing both times. I don't change it, I just flag it.
I would say if you are not sure, flag it.
