Could you all please tell me what the proper spelling of the above term is? I was under the impression it should be periosteal callus formation, but I got my report back with the correction that it should be periosteal callous formation?

I thought callus was hardened bone or skin and callous was when someone was being insensitive?

sounds like the radiation caused either a cutaneous burn/erosion or an internal scar contracture so was stopped. Could it be "of 7 inches" or "of several inches"? Unfortunately very common side effect of rectal cancer radiation.

This sounds like Geisi or something like that.  I can hear that beginning "g" sound so I don't think he is saying Roux-en-Y.

As far as I can find talus is only referred to in the foot/ankle, but this doctor is doing a cyst excision on the middle finger and says "The talus formation to the dorsal soft tissue was also  s/l lipsed out."  Can someone help with the talus formation part and also "lipsed out"?  THanks
