Help please

I am working on a dictation and am stumped on a word...

It pertains to the GI portion of the Review of Systems:

"GI: Patient denies any melena, change in bowel habits, MATAKESHA or hematemesis"

It sounds like matakesha but I know that's wrong..any ideas?
