I should have known that. It was early and I woke up late this morning. I should have given myself a little time to think about that one rather than jump and post on here so quickly. Thanks to both for your messages. :) Merry Christmas!

Just FYI, there are more french terms medically speaking, i.e., there is also *peau d'orange* which is *orange skin* used in medicine to describe something with the look (orange color) and texture (dimpled appearance) of an orange peel; for example the skin of the breast in inflammatory breast cancer or the retina in pseudoxanthoma elasticum.

I'm doing a report where iodine seeds are being placed for prostate cancer, and the ESL says, "the total was 22.9 Madam Curies of iodine." Maybe this is her way of being cute, but I don't think so because she sounds professional otherwise. She's a very good dictator and clear speaking too. Am I way off base thinking no way could Madam Curie be the correct term here? I'm thinking this has to be millicuries and should be transcribed as mCI. Maybe she'd think this was the appropriate abbreviation for Madam Curie too, who knows? Maybe I'm totally wrong, but I just don't think so!

I thought I was pretty handy at Googling to get me on the right track, but I'm not getting any leads on this:
"Prostate shows about a 60 to 80 gram gland and about 20 s/l *intravessical* *alburant* lobe." Later in the report he says "We then introduced our GreenLight laser probe and began to take down the s/l *intravessical* prostate or s/l *alburant* lobe."
Should it be intervessical or intravessical? The lobe could s/l alburant or alvurant; not sure.
Thanks so much! I'm new to this procedure.
