Google the phrase to read all about sentinel node biopsy. They are trying to see if cancer has spread to the lymph nodes.

If the hyphen is used to modify, I am hoping that this is correct. Please excuse my lack of ability to absorb this. It seems like my entire report will be filled with hyphens as many nodes are seen...it just looks too busy to me to be acceptable and having a hyphen in one place to describe the same node should be the same as when the node is described at the end of a sentence...I should lobby for changes, huh?
