You might want to find a list of osteoporosis medications (as that is one of the conditions you mentioned) and see if one of them has a generic name that sounds like your s/l. When you're a new MT, you need to do a lot of detective work.

The MOST obvious is apparently like I understood it:
5 packs in 1 year.
Maybe the doctor really meant this, 5 packs per year, so essentially a nonsmoker.

Turns out that the patient is having very high fevers giving impression of left lower lobe pneumonia. Came across a brand name of a drug used in mouthwash called Advexin. They were talking about oral cancers...but then cross-referenced on http://www.pharma-lexicon.com/ and found (generic Mepron) atovaquone, classified as an anti-infective used in both adults and children who are at risk for PCP with initial doses of 750 mg per 5 mL. Since Hodgkin's lymphoma and bone marrow transplant would put this girl in a severely immunocompromised state, I would bet they are giving her a pretty hefty dose of the stuff. Atovaquone it is.
