you learn overnight. There are terms, abbreviations, words that sound so much alike, etc., etc. Give it some time, and then decide if this is right for you. Take criticism objectively not personally. Research and find sample reports of physical exams, operative reports, progress notes, whatever you can get. There is a lot of great help on this board, take note of helpful websites and study, study, study. This is not a job that you can jump into and expect to know everything, it does take excellent hearing, grammar, patience and persistence.

All biopsies go to Pathology, so you cannot go wrong typing that. They don't go to Histology anyway....only after Pathology sees the biopsy and cuts a section - then Histology makes a slide. Don't you love annunciations like that!?
