Doc says 70 mg daily, should this not be weekly? I am leaving a QA marker just in case. Thought about changing it to weekly, but I am not a doc, just a transcriptionist!

Fosamax dosage-sent to QA
Subject: Fosamax dosage-sent to QA
I sent a note to my supervisor about the doc saying Fosamax 70 mg daily, not weekly, after I sent it to QA and the QA person left it daily.
THIS IS FROM MY SUPERVISOR:
I listened to the report and I heard daily--not weekly. It also can be given in a 70 mg dosage.
So, it did me no good to send it to QA or to my supervisor. I found it weekly, but not daily. I asked her to send me where she found it 70 mg daily, because when I do a search, nothing comes up for me. If I am wrong, I am sorry for blowing off steam, but if I am right-- YEA ME!!!

I agree that you are right. I take Fosamax 70 mg. once weekly.

I also used to work for orthopaedic surgeons and had the bone density test, and I know it is once a week.
