Ok, today is a day where I feel like an idiot... Can anyone help?
The patient has some arthralgias pain. I typically do ophthalmology and P.T. so I don't know how to type the following tests and I also have no idea what she is saying in the ____ area. Sounds like "also 1 aceta rate".
"...time I repeated an arthritis panel including an ANA and an anti CCP all of which were negative. She had a CRP ______ rate of 12..."
Can anyone offer help how I type the ANA and anti CCP and does anyone have an idea of what might be between the CRP and rate of 12?
I know it's a lot to ask. Having a bad typing day!
Thank you,
Mo
=)

I cannot hear if my doctor is saying, "solo" or "sole practice" when describing another doctor. I need opinions as to which term is more widely used? I know I can flag it to the doctor's attention, but I found both on google, so I'm curious. One time in the report, it sounds like he says it one way, and another time, the other way!

she was looking for the plural form of decubitus, saying she got stumped by it. I responded very simply to that. I did not feel I needed to correct her use of "pleural" as was not her question and just quickly wanted to help her, and checked my medical references to do so. I pointed out that there are no plural form for decubitus. This is all correct. What is your problem. I was trying to help an MT with correct and verfified medical transcription help, now I know why I stay away from any message boards, always someone who wants a fight. Whatever.
