Maybe FIs?? (fasciculus intrafascicularis). My understanding of this structure is vague as to whether it is fascial tissue, a synapse or connective tissue, but it functions in the conduction of nerve impulses and is something that can be tested by EMG. It can be a target in microsurgical treatment of the hand and/or elbow for a variety of conditions, including tarsal tunnel and/or compartment syndromes
